This plique-à-jour enamel pendant is one of Laura's most technically extraordinary pieces — a technique in which enamel is suspended between metal wires with no backing, so that light passes directly through the colour like light through a cathedral window. The result is something you have to see in person to fully understand.

Set in 18 carat gold vermeil and suspended on a delicate gold chain, this pendant carries the colours of the deep ocean: blues, greens, and the particular luminosity that only this rare technique can achieve.
