Mining for new precious metals carries a significant environmental cost. To protect the natural world, Parra Jewels proudly uses 18 carat recycled gold and recycled sterling silver. By choosing recycled metals, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint and eliminate the need for new mining — giving new life to existing gold and silver while maintaining the same exceptional purity and lustre.

Fairmined Gold

We are proud to be one of a small number of jewellers in the UK licensed to use Fairmined certified gold (ID: GB30116) — gold that is certified from source, mined by small-scale artisan miners with fair wages, safe conditions, and genuine care for the environment.

Every piece of jewellery is made by hand by Laura in her Bedfordshire studio. A professionally trained goldsmith, Laura oversees every stage of the process — from initial sketch to finished hallmarked piece — ensuring that each commission is a legacy piece designed to last a lifetime.

We're committed to responsible sourcing. Our gold is certified Fair Mined, ensuring it meets rigorous ethical and environmental standards. Gemstones are selected from trusted suppliers or gathered during our travels, supporting fair treatment of miners and artisans worldwide.
